Guilt

It’s just sitting there.......

Guilt

It’s just sitting there, niggling in the background. It comes and goes.

It’s strong and then it’s weak.

Guilt

It’s just sitting there, wanting to come in. Wanting a place at my table. Waiting it’s turn to show it’s face.

And it does show its face. Shows it’s ugly existence.

Guilt

It’s just sitting there, at the back of the room. Got it’s eye on you, watching you. Waiting to make eye contact, waiting to make the connection - as then it’s in.

In to your thoughts, in to your heart - making you feel pain.

Guilt

It’s just sitting there, hey you, yes you there - Why? Why didn’t you? Why didn’t you say something? Hey you, yes you there!

Guilt

It’s just sitting there, but it has to go.

It’s not welcome, you are not welcome in my thoughts. You must leave, you must. And it will, but just watch out ..... cos it’s sitting in the back row, waiting. Waiting for you.

Guilt

It’s just sitting there.......

————————————————

Guilt! It comes in all shapes and sizes:

Natural Guilt or remorse over something you did or failed to do

Toxic Guilt, having a sense of not been a good person

Existential Guilt, when you see injustices going on in the world.
